My husband and I always stay at 4 or 5-star resorts. This is one of the best that we've ever stayed at anywhere in the world. We especially like that it's very small (30-something rooms) and therefore very quiet. Almost seems like it's your private resort. The staff are superb and the restaurants are fabulous.

San Martin not much of a destination BUT SF, San Jose Monterey are close enough for those out of area - the rest of us just prefer to relax! We just returned from Cordevalle and WOW! What a place. We've been very fortunate to experience many luxury resorts, and this was one of the best we've been to. The service & staff here is unprecedented. The setting is spectacular, and the food is beyond. We are already planning a return trip.
