“Poor Management”

Starting off ok, then a strange hostel guest comes into the dorm room. He objects to an very elderely man snoring by coughing and clapping his hands really loud to wake him up. “Quiet average hostel - poor atmosphere - beautiful building”

This hostel is close to downtown Sacramento in a beautiful old house. We really loved the building. The hostel atmosphere was not that great but it was definitely quiet season. Greetings and thank you for your feedback. You're absolutely right about the bunk bed. Most of our private rooms are designed with families in mind. We apologize that the bunk was distracting; we will try to be more aware of things like this when assigning guests to private rooms. “Another gorgeous HI-property”

We stayed in the hostel for one night. Arriving there made us go 'wauw', the hostel is in an old, beautiful mansion... We had our own private room, which was nice and clean. We had very helpful staff and enjoyed our stay very much!
