I chose this motel because of its proximity to LAX. It is ok for overnight stay, would not want to stay there longer, although the neighborhood is safe and has a lovely atmosphere. The room is dated (relatively clean though), bed not very comfortable, could be softer. Breakfast is crap. Wifi is free of charge and works also in rooms.

close enough to the pier and activities, price is very good, and its reasonably clean and very spacious. Windows could open to fresh breezes. and we had to do this because we forgot to ask for a nonsmoking room. The personnel were very welcoming and helpful, and breakfast decent for a budget place. It's not luxury but I'd stay again.

Although this motel isn't far from the beach it isn't as close as we thought it would be, about 15 mins walk.
