Good place for families because of separate rooms, etc. but the decor & bathrooms are in need up upgrading. The bathrooms are "Motel 6" -ish, small & kind of yuck, meaning I didn't want to give my kid a bath in the tub.

The two bedroom 'suite' is a good value although the term 'suite' is somewhat misleading. The two rooms are connected by a hallway and the larger bedroom has a table, micro, and small refrigerator. We had an oceanfront room. Great view and great room, very spacious. I would recommend this place to everyone. Great place for a family trip too. This is one of our favorite places to stay in Pismo Beach.
