I had a lovely stay at Cardinal. The location is great, right in downtown Palo Alto. They offer free business services including printing and they had toothpaste for me at the desk. I especially like the fireplace in the lobby and the great service at the concierge desk. I hope they never sell out to a commercial chain. More

12/26/2010, two nights We stayed in a room, with shared bath. This was not a problem at all, as there are multiple clean shared baths and showers available. We have rented 4-6 rooms at the Cardinal for the past 6 years for a mini family reunion. (10-16 people- 4 generations). The location is perfect for roaming around to the shops and restaurants in Palo Alto. The staff is very nice and the rooms are comfy. The lobby and upstairs library are great for visiting. We'll be back. More
