My husband and I were staying in the town of Napa and wanted to find somewhere nearby where we could hike. Skyline Wilderness Park fit the bill completely. It was only about a 10 or 15 minute drive from town, and the hike was great. We went on a Saturday and were a little worried that the trails would be... More

Let me point out a few of the negatives so that you don't get swept away by the positives. The sites are dusty, a smattering of gravel and not carpenter level. They have pull-thrus with 50 amp service, but it's a little tight for two big rigs to sit shoulder to shoulder with slide-outs. In fact, fancy pants with big... More

I needed somewhere in the Napa area for an overnight stop, and I am very pleased I ended up at Skyline. For $15 I had my pick of places to set up my tent, water, free Wifi and flush toilets and hot showers. If I had had the time, I could have spent several hours hiking the trails and walking... More

We rented an Escape Campervan in San Fransisco in July 2012 and spent 2 weeks traveling around northern California. We had made reservations at the Napa RV park but upon arrival they refused us. We had not been informed that all campers must have a holding tank to stay there. Fortunately we were able to stay at Skyline and were... More

Found this park online and liked it because of its proximity to Napa. The staff were very friendly and the setting was pleasant. The shower block was pretty basic and certainly not the nicest, but at the same time i have been to worse. One thing i would point out is the insects, we sat out and had a few... More

My husband and I are firm believers that when you go to Napa, you should go for the food, wine, scenery, adventures -- not necessary the accommodation. We stayed at Skyline Wilderness Park for three nights during our honeymoon and it was the best decision we could have made. We camped there for $15/night -- which included not only our... More

This park is a little hard to find, but tough to beat. When you turn off onto Imola Ave, you can't believe there will be an RV park at the end of the road! The park was quiet with a pretty setting and all the amenities needed while visiting Napa. I was too busy exploring the vineyards and enjoying wine... More
