Over priced,dirty(old drink cup and dust under bed), door locks are cheap residential exterior door locks, which can easily be left unlocked when exiting the room. We got a room with double queens for the price of a single-queen room. It was still rather small, but decent and clean. It has seen ibetter days though: the sheets and towels are a little worn down. There was no hair dryer/coffee maker/fridge.

This room was clean. The bathroom simple with soap, shampoo and towels. There was a fridge and TV with all the major cable channels. The free wireless worked very well in my room. OK to stay but fairly basic and not spotless. Cheap and no problems. Under flight path for local airport but not a problem with noise. Dennys (24 hours) oposite.

I paid $150 for a room with two beds. The room was dingy, but reasonably clean. (No obvious stains, mold, hairs or bugs.) There was no shampoo, closet, or hairdryer. The room smelled very strongly of pinesol. The music from the adult theater next door was audible past midnight, but didn't keep me awake. The heater and the tv worked.

We found this off a Monterey website and chose it because it was on special $50.00 a night. This is as basic as it gets. Cardboard sheets and no amenities: none! No pop machine, no ice machine.
