This is a family run motel right on Lake Tahoe's north shore. It is in a convenient location for both ski areas during the winter and lake activities during the summer. We love this place. The location is perfect, 12 minutes from North Star! Clean rooms, nice continental breakfast. We have only stayed here during winter months for skiing, so we have not used the pools. They have 2 hot tubs, one indoors and one outside. Location was perfect. Lake view room worth every cent. Service was amazing. Room very clean. Nice balcony. Nice hot tub. Bed very comfortable. Beach at your door step. Restaurants and shops very short walk

“Loved this place!”

This hotel was affordable, in a great location, and with a beautiful view of the lake. We loved playing ping pong, dipping in the hot tub during sunset, and walking to Kings Beach. I would definitely stay there again.

Thanks for taking the time to get back to us. We agree that rooms closer to road are a bit noisier but thankfully, Kings Beach is a pretty slow town at night. We did just replace all the windows in rooms 401 to 407 to double pane and rooms are much quieter according to our regulars. See you next time.... More

Sorry we didn't offer the free upgrade. We sometimes do this or upgrade for less than rack rate but have no strict policy on this. Great location to major ski resorts, clean rooms, friendly staff and very affordable. Private hot tub was awesome( sign up early) great views of the lake, balcony wraps around the building didn't need a lake view room to enjoy the view.i would definitely stay here in the future.
