We stayed at The Desert Lily over New Years, and had the most amazing time. We kept sleeping in late, but our last day there we did make it to breakfast! We met a really great couple also from Los Angeles and some European Travelers. Carrie's awesome and super funny, one of the perks. Enjoy.

We spent two nights in the B&B. Rooms are surprisingly snug (if a couple travels with more than roll aboard luggage, I don't know where they would put their suitcases). However, the rooms are also well-appointed with great touches...robes, slippers, backpack, cooler for touring in the national park, many toiletries including sunscreen. Thoughtful. The location, a few miles up the... More

Casa Rosita is a charming casita, part of the Desert Lily property. It was well equipped, immaculate and comfortable. Waking up to the sounds of the desert was the icing on the cake. A wonderful place to stay.

Carrie must have run out of charm pills. Yes, we stopped by early, in hopes of dropping off our bags. Yes, she had indicated ahead that wasn't her bliss. But she practically snapped our heads off. Breakfast was supposed to be at 8:30. We arrived on time, figuring she wanted us there On Time Or Else. Plus we needed to... More

My boyfriend and I stayed one night on a stopover through the Joshua Tree area -- I wish we could have stayed longer! Very relaxing, beautifully comfortable B&B with warm and open common area, lovely patio and courtyard and very cozy rooms. Owner Carrie has gone out of her way to fill the entire property with lots of little touches,... More

The common area of the B&B was lovely and welcoming, as was Carrie the Owner. Everything was clean and fresh, not worn or old. The bed was comfortable and ample for both me and my husband. The outside area was also lovely, the firepit was welcoming and we used it both nights of our stay. The location was perfect for... More

The Desert Lily B & B is a wonderful change from the standard or even deluxe hotel stay. Carrie, the proprietress is not only welcoming but an excellant cook. Breakfast is tailored to ones individual needs and tastes. Rooms are well furnished with everything one might need right down to daypacks for hiking. Carrie is knowledgeable about the area restaurants,... More

I was coming to Joshua tree to climb and travelling on my own. This place is an amazing place to stay, felt like home away from home. Room was very nice, comfortable with thought put in to the detail, even backpacks in the cupboard for day hikes, although I didn't need one. Snacks and drinks left out for my arrival,... More

We stayed here during Labor Day weekend (9/1 - 9/3) and had a GREAT time. There were 4 of us, and we rented the Biltmore Bunkhouse cabin. The cabin was small, but very cozy and had all the amenities we needed - plates, cups, glasses, utensils (both for eating and for cooking), pots, pans, etc. There is only a little... More

My husband and I stayed in the Bilmore Bunkhouse at the Desert Lily for a long weekend. We absolutely loved our accommodations; a charming, well-appointed cottage surrounded by beautiful gardens. We hiked every day in the national park and shopped for food at the local farmers market. We look forward to returning to the Desert Lily!
