the staff was amazing!!!! great valet, bellman & front desk. very kid friendly and nice location. they provided us with restaurant list coffee shops, and directions to near by attractions. room was nice, breakfast was ok. but the staff was AMAZING. my family and i would definitely stay here again. plus it was not to far from disneyland.

Frankly, when I go to Irvine, I stay at the Hyatt Regency only because (a) its location is convenient, and (b) I want to protect my Gold Passport status. Otherwise, the rooms are tired, the restaurant is very basic, and the reception quite plastic.

Sunday, May 5, I came away from the Hyatt Regency with an itch on my abdomen. It itched and hurt at the same time. Maybe the hotel needs to fumigate room 424. I'm no doctor, but after visiting Kaiser, they gave me antibiotics and a cream to apply to the effected area.
