We were in town for a basketball tournament at UCSB - this place was perfect. They have a fairly hearty breakfast which is actually fairly edible. While perhaps not in a scenic area for a Santa Barbara vacation, it was a great place to stay for business. Few properties have indoor corridors and furniture for working at the computer. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

We've stayed in Hampton Inns all over the US and this property was the best out of all of them. This property sports the latest furnishings and decor. The staff was awesome! Highly recommended if visiting Santa Barbara CA.

An excellent place to stay in Goleta. Very comfortable, accommodating, and extra clean hotel. Literally 5 minutes from the UCSB, in the old town Goleta section of town, and minutes from the Camino Real shops north of the freeway and marketplace at Hollister and Storke.

The quality of the Hampton Inn in Goleta is still very good and worth the business. The complimentary breakfast is still an attractive part of the amenities of the hotel. The service is excellent and the staff is customer service oriented. However, I am beginning to notice that the carpet is showing wear and is getting pretty old.
