We are accustomed to staying at the Vagabond Inn in Glendale, Ca for business, and its always been nice, so we booked this on a recent trip to Fresno, we looked up Vagabond Inn. There were 2 to choose from, so we selected the "Executive" one, thinking it would be even nicer....boy were we in for a suprise! When we... More

Well it was a hot summer night and the Air conditioning unit sucks… They had an oscillating fan for the room you could not open the windows due to no screens, they did have BARS on the windows for your safety. I had to take the sheets of to see if the bed was acutely a board, that’s how hard... More

Our company recently purchased this property. We are making every effort to correct the issues that the guests of the property faced in the past. To date, we have added vending machines to three locations around the property. We have replaced all bedding in all of the rooms. We have added new microwaves and refrigerators to the rooms. We have... More

For the price, this is a very good deal. It's sort of hard to find. Parkway stops and starts alongside the 99 (just remember to get off at Clinton and you'll be fine -- some of the other motels along stretches of Parkway closer to downtown are obviously high crime areas). The lobby is just being redone. You can only... More

Pretty tired motel, a one-star at best. Employees say it is sold and will become a Vagabond Inn May 2007. Air conditioning is a rotary switch on the wall, not a thermostat. Heating is an electric bathroom-style small wall unit that did not work in my room. Old TV that only had channels 14 to 30. No safe. Breakfast included... More

I stayed at this hotel this past weekend with a group of people and was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable I was there. It has certainly seen better days - the grounds could do with a good landscaping rehab, some of the rooms smell badly, there were broken windows covered with wood, and the showerhead was WAY less than stellar... This is nothing but a large motel. It was hot and the AC barely worked. The owirless access did not work. Pool is small and dirty. Grounds were nice given that this is a very hot weather town. I recommend this hotel for single men. OVERPRICED BASED ON LACK OF COMFORT. More

We were a little bit afraid by the latest reviews, but we cannot confirm the bad experience of other visitors. The rooms were large and comfortable, and not so old. But the towels had a strange odor, chicken like. The inside part of the hotel is very nice, but take care of the water spraying for the grass. We have... More

Stayed over one night but arrived too late to use the pool. The area surrounding it looked quite attractive and room opened out onto it. Room was a good size with no aircon problems - outside temperature 90F. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for Memorial Day Holiday, so had to drive to get evening meal. Not a lot of choice... I'm not sure what the previous posters paid who claimed this to be a good price, but I just paid $91 and it was a major ripoff. First of all, there's a $3 extra ENERGY fee for which they don't tell you about. Secondly, there is no control over heat and air, just a fan. Garden? By the road looked... More

Should be renamed "Best Dumpster". First, our rooms were not completely ready as we had ordered them. Then, in the middle of the night we discovered roaches and other multi-legged creatures in our beds in one of the rooms! We immediately told a staff who then let us switch to another room. By then it was 3am in the morning!... More
