Sorry BW, but this was the Worst Western. Dirty, noisy, expected drug trafficking outside, phone didn't work, super noisy air conditioner. Downright scary. There is no way that we can offer any good words about this hotel. If we had known how bad it would turn out, we would have kept driving.

Our stay was pretty good. We picked the BW Courtesy Inn as it was the closest Best Western to the Tecate, Mexico border crossing. Locating the hotel is difficult if you take the 1st exit for Main Street heading east on I8. Be sure to wait and take the second exit. Directions in BW guide are a little confusing.

I Have used this hotel for past 6 weeks and have found it to be generally consistent in good service and usually clean rooms. Bathroom clean as expected. Showers with strong water flow. Free Continental breakfast have a lot of variety.Very nice staff with excellent customer service! . Excellent service like this was standard.
