My husband and I recently stayed here as a surprise weekend getaway for his birthday. It was EXACTLY what we were looking for. There are only maybe 6 rooms on the property, and no tvs or music, everything is very quiet and peaceful. We took a hike one day in Joshua Tree National Park and then had massages at the... More

I never would have believed how quickly stress could disapate. We arrived after dark and were shown to our room, one of six surrounding a mineral hot spring pool. We took a dip under the stars and relished the utter silence. Even the minimalist rooms seemed relaxing - no clutter, no dirt, no bugs. I slept like a rock. Everything... More

Yes, I am a Two Bunch Palms refugee.....and after a few tries, I struck it rich finding this place! I LOVED the vibe.....much quieter (no radios or tv's allowed, and no loud voices), and fell in love with the decor and the warm colors and simplicity of design that the owners incorporated into this place. I was so inspired by... More

Have always wanted to go and finally did. We'll be back. Small, quiet, beautiful, perfect secret getaway in the desert. Highly recommended. This place is owned by a really cool designer and architect couple - they've done a fantastic job with it. Anyone who gets to stay there is lucky.

I have been sneaking over here for 20 years- back then it was funky (and frankly a little too "quaint") now it's mid-century spare and the water is as wonderful as ever. You owe it to yourself to unplug and soak it all away! You won't regret it... even if it's 115 degrees (which it was last time I went)... More

Well, being from Los Angeles and having phones, computers, traffic and TV as a part of daily life - arriving here was a culture shock. What do you mean there are no phones? What do you mean there are no TV's?? What is one supposed to do??? Well, let me tell you. This place is tiny, maybe 6-8 rooms. None... More

This last weekend was my 3rd trip to this B&B. Its true that it doesn't have the luxury accommodations of the more upscale hotels, however if you are going there to get away, to feel rejuvenated, to have lots of quite moments...this is the place for you. They have a mineral hot water spa and mineral water pool, the waterwell... More

Miracle Manor is a small, fully restored 1950's style hot springs spa that has charm all its own. Its philosophy is that it is a "retreat" where you come to relax and heal body and soul in the hot, soothing mineral waters of the spa. Anyone thinking of staying here should review the Manor's website (http://www.miraclemanor.com) and read reviews on... More

The RULES: No television. No radio. No smoking. No telephone. No shoes indoors. No kids. No pets. If you can abide by those rules, well then maybe you might like this place as much as we did. You will feel compelled to whisper. It's so quaint. Only 6 rooms, all of which have been remodeled with a retro 1960-70s feel.... More

Stay Away! This is a very small, outdated and overpriced ‘retreat’ (if you want to call it that). There is no ‘scenic view’ as described on their website or over the phone. Their website photos and Living Social description of what they offer is misleading and borderline fraud. The place is enclosed by a rotting wooden and plastic fence that... More
