Stayed with my family, first weekend of summer vacation. Breakfast plentiful/ lots of options, no delays. Room was clean. Everyone was very friendly, including housekeepers, breakfast staff, and front desk.

Stayed here last minute and was impressed. The room looked pretty much like the pictures. The bed was comfy and the room and bathroom clean. The breakfast was good and a plus. Both my husband and I said that we would stay here again if in this area in the future.

I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. It is very centrally located with clean and well-maintained facilities AND offers a fantastic free breakfast for guests. Can't beat the price + facility.

Nice hotel with great hot breakfast each day included. Small pool but large hot tub pretty nice. Directly across the street from McCellan Palomar Regional airport and 5 miles from Legoland. Delicious chocolate chip cookies baked each night so be sure to go to the front desk nolater than 7:30 to get one....taste better than Doubletree cookies.

I stayed in April 2013 for only 3 nights at the Hampton Inn in Carlsbad but the short trip worth it cause this hotel is awesome. The rooms are very clean and the size is more than enough. The service personal was very friendly and helpful when you had any question.

The location is close to the airport, and you can walk to the airport within 5 minutes. That's good. But it is far from the restaurants, if you don't have a car you can not find a place for dinner.
