I have stayed at better hotels for cheaper. You pay a lot of a beach view that isn't that noticeable. The bed was lopsided and I expected more when I arrived in room. I payed $240 a night and there wasn't a balcony.

The hotel and staff were very friendly. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast as it was convenient. Although this was a business trip, the hotel is across the street from the coast and beautiful views!

This Hilton Hotel is a local gem. A great location-just minutes from Legoland and La Costa( for those who attend the WTA tennis event in late July). The rates are very reasonable. We picked this as our base for a couple of days at legoland. The shuttle service was great, available to take you within a five mile radius (including legoland, restaurants and shopping) pretty much at a moments notice. The staff were warm and helpful. Coin operated laundry on site a godsend. Would certainly recommend.
