If you prefer an uncrowded place among Niseko, the famous giant ski resort, An'nupuri would be the good place to ski. And Niseko Nothern Resort An'nupuri would be a good hotel for those guys. As we are a family with a 4-year child, we didn't need to ski so many courses or night bars for hanging around, so we chose... More

We stayed here for a week of skiing in February. The resort is very conveniently located for skiing, pick up your gear and then slide out to the lift. Check in smooth and simple, took almost no time and the questions we had were quickly answered. The room was bigger than normal for Japan but still not so big. Clean... More

This is our third year skiing in Niseko and because we usually end up skiing An'nupuri we decided to stay there this year and chose the Niseko Northern Resort Hotel. It was great. Ski-in ski-out, fabulous food in the An'Non Japanese restaurant, an in-house shop that sells beer and sake cheaper than their own bar, wonderful breakfasts of Japanese and... More

After reading the reviews on TA, we chose NNRA for our 3 night stay in the Niseko resort area. We were not disappointed. Definitely the local feel we had hoped for - a few recent reviews mention fluent English being spoken, but we didn't really experience that, although there was one staff member who spoke very good English. Some pros:... More

The staff were fluent in English and eager to help. They obliged with the confirmation of reservations in 3 restaurants. The ski in and out was great. The onsen was a bit small and the outdoor section had no view. The room facing the road was noisy while they cleared the snow from 630am. Breakfast was really good. Freshly baked... More

We stayed as a family over the Christmas period. Having stayed at the Hilton the last time, I'd say it was comparable with some pros and some cons. Firstly the check in was smooth and staff courteous and efficient. However I was told that my booking from Expedia which stated buffet breakfast was incuded was incorrect. After a few calls... More

I've stayed at this hotel a number of times spread over a dozen years - with lots of visits to other hotels across the Niseko area sprinkled in between. If skiing through the day & relaxing into the evening is your thing then the Northern Resort should definitely be high on your list. Like many hotels in Niseko, the Northern... More

We spent a week here in Feb 2012 (this is one of the only Niseko hotels that offers great deals for travelers staying for a week or more). Overall, the hotel was great. The Good: It offers a wonderful breakfast buffet and the true ski-in, ski-out capability is awesome. The main lobby lounge offers free wi-fi and a wonderful fire... More

My girlfriend and I are here at the hotel right now. We have stayed 4 nights and have 4 nights to go. We have been very pleasantly surprised by our experience at Northern Resort An'nupuri, given some reviews are critical. Our taxi from Niseko Station arrived and we were greeted by the porter who carried our bags inside. The woman... More

We stayed here for 7 nights as part of a Cathay Pacific holiday package. Whilst the rooms are small, (Standard Twin), this is quite typical in Japan. The downside was that there is only Japanese language TV, and the hotel permits guests to wear their ski boots from the room to the slopes, (which causes unnecessary noise), as this can... More
