Whispering Pines in Cambria is the perfect location to stay while experiencing so much the central coast has to offer. There is Hearst Castle, the Elephant Seals and the wonderful Wineries on Hwy 46. A day of wondering the shops in town is a must. After a busy day seeing the sights, the accommodations at Whispering Pines are very relaxing,... More

I was very disappointed. We paid enough to get a good quality and we did not. The lighting, privacy (blinds don't close fully) and there is room in the living area connected to the owner's living area, awfully small TV, and many instructions as to what you can do and what not to do are turn offs. Did not like... More

From the temperature of the room to the waterfall by the hot tub to the breakfasts served, this operation is totally climate-controlled. If you want a sure-fire relaxing time, this is it! Just remember to color beteeen the lines and smooth sailing. More

The other reviewers are spot on -- this place is exactly as advertised. The suite is super clean and spacious, breakfasts are very tasty and plentiful, the hot tub really is secluded with a waterfall nearby. Cambria (pronounced with a short a, as in Camelot) is a quaint little town with lots of places to eat. The Black Cat was... More

I have stayed at Whispering Pines on several occasions. It's in a gorgeous location and incredibly peaceful. Hearst Castle is nearby, as are many wineries, the ocean, and gorgeous hiking trails. (Not to mention the quaint town of Cambria, that boasts many fine restaurants and art galleries.) If you are lucky, you will see some of the local wildlife, including... More

My husband and I recently visited Whispering Pines for our first ever get-away without our 18 month old son and it was a great experience. The suite was very clean and looked pretty much like the pictures on their website. The best part about Whispering Pines: the waterfall, the jacuzzi (it's extra hot!), the privacy, the cleanliness, the sheets on... More

We had a lovely relaxing couple of days here, on our way across from San Francisco to Las Vegas. The suite of rooms was far nicer than I'd expected, and very spacious and clean. W only met Jack, our host, who was extremely pleasant and welcoming. His breakfasts on both days were lovely, and very filling! There was everything you... More

We were looking forward to spending a weekend in Whispering Pines -- its location and service described on the web were rather attractive. Indeed, it is located in the beautiful place. Fountain, truly whispering pines, singing birds, loft, and a delicious selection for daily breakfast -- everything sounded and looked promising and inspiring. We hoped to relax and thought this... My wife and I took a long weekend before the birth of our first child and this was the perfect start to our trip. This is a unique B&B in that you have a private living space with seperate entrance. It has a two story space with a kitchen and living area and an upstairs loft bedroom. They even have... More
