My husband and and I stayed in this Hotel at the beginning of September for one night. It was in a picturesque village and had lovely views over the loch. The room was not worth the money that was being charged. The whole place was tired and run down, the lighting was poor and I could not see to do... More

Stayed for one night, found the hotel to fit our needs perfectly. The owners are friendly and bent over backwards to make our single night comfortable. Food was excellent especially the included breakfast, don't think that I needed to eat again till supper, such a big feed. Would recommend highly to anyone, the only downfall as I saw it, was... We stayed in this little hotel and couldnt have been more delighted that we stopped here on our holiday around the Scottish coast. The village itself is nestled in between beautiful coastline, fishing lakes and mountains. The hotel management and staff were friendly and helpful, the food was lovely and the room was clean and good value for money. The... More

Arriving in remote Drumbeg at 8.45pm (sun still up!), tired, cold and limping after a long, damp day in the mountains, we were welcomed by being told that "Dinner service had finished at 8pm". When we pleaded we were told sternly "I can do three fish and chips, but it will have to be now". When I asked if it... More

The Drumbeg Hotel is a fantastic place to stay. The hosts, Dawn and Robin, are very welcoming and helpful. The bedrooms are a good size, immaculately clean with comfy beds. The lovely lounge area has large comfy sofas and plenty of reading material. The bar is a real locals bar with great ales and beers and a good choice of... More

Comfortable bedroom with working radiator and piping hot water. Friendly bar with extensive collection of beers and whiskies. A dining room with one of the finest views in the British Isles looking out over Loch Drumbeg. A good menu including imported Cumberland sausage all cooked to a very high standard. The quality of the hotel matches the stunning scenery and... More

I was touring in the west of scotland last year with my husband and son. On leaving Applecross we headed to the drumbeg hotel for one night and then had other hotels booked after that. In a remote area, our brakes failed on the car and after a two hour wait we were recovered by a local garage who advised... More

we were visiting a friend in the village and we enjoyed a drink in the bar before we checked in. The room was spacious and had a view over the loch. We ate in the hotel restaurant in the evening. The food was home cooked and it was super, we can recommend the Italian vegetable gateau. We had a few... More

I visited the Drumbeg Hotel with a group of friends for a fishing, clay pigeon shooting and relaxation trip in early October. We were blessed with the best weekend weather of the year, with the thermometer shooting up to 20 degrees C; was this northwest Scotland in October?? On arrival, we were greeted warmly by the owners and shown to... More
