Stayed 2 nights B&B and 2 evening meals recently on a mid-week heritage offer. The hotel is small, only 20 bedrooms, but the rooms are big and comfortable. They have flat screen TV, tea & coffee and a fine big bathroom. Meals were excellent with a fairly good choice of menu for the evening meal. The owners and staff were... more

The hotel organised a Historical Weekend for our Local History group. By "organised" I mean everything! A meal on Friday followed by a brilliant talk on Local History - organised at short notice - the original speaker was "volcanoed". The next day we got a marvelous tour of the area, followed by an excellent meal and a night of traditional... more

We stayed here while Mountain biking on the Ballyhoura trails. The service was excellent, staff very friendly, and it was excellent value. Full Irish breakfast plus a packed lunch to bring mountain biking. Could not ask for more. more

We had the pleasure of staying in Deebert House Hotel for a family birthday party also hosted by the hotel recently. Margaret, Jamal and staff really could not have done more to ensure that it was a memorable occasion in every way, from arranging contacts, organising the room, taking care of guest lists, nothing was too much. The banquet was... more

However,at this point our... more

Walking with the Ballyhoura Bears Walking Club brought me to the Deebert House Hotel for their Ballyhoura Autumn Rambling Weekend in mid Oct. Superb quality, a fair price and great hospitality shown throughout the whole weekend. Good food and music sessions. A most enjoyable stay. I'm delighted to recommend this based on my stay there. The walking was challenging and... more

The hotel is geared towards walkers and cyclists and they will organise leaders to go on mountain or forest treks with you. The walking is amazing and you have views over the Golden Vale or though ancient beech woods, beautiful river walks. The walks can be as difficult or as easy as your fitness allows. The Ballyhoura Bears Walking Club... more

It was spur of the moment for us to stay here, but we had the best time. A lovely evening meal in the very friendly Bar and Dining area. There was lots of space for children to run around even late in the evening in the courtyard! Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Free Wi-Fi was a bonus and proximity to... more

Spent two nights here, on a special deal that included a three course meal on one of the nights. We arrived in the evening on the first night, and were given room 110, overlooking the cows in the field next door and the church in the distance. The parking was out the front of the hotel, with some table and... more
