Go in with low expectations as the place isn't a palace & the rooms are a little tired. However, the rooms are very clean & spacious. The shower was fantastic - hot & powerful! The reception staff are friendly & helpful. Breakfast is usual buffet affair but adequate - it is worth trying the umm ali even tho' it seems... More

Ths hotel is just outside the entrance to Petra which makes it a great location. The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly. It has two beautiful pools. We did the Turkish Bath (worth doing if you've never done one) and the jacuzzi was fabulous. Eating out by the pool deck for dinner in the cool evening made for... More

We reached this hotel pretty late and tired at night. And headed out to Petra at the crack of dawn. So the experience in between was quite decent. We got a room facing the pool. And there were not many people were in the pool at the middle of a 10 degree night. So we had a peaceful sleep. But... More

The hotel was far from a palace!! As said in other reviews the redeeming feature of the hotel is the location as it is only a few minutes walk from the entrance to Petra. The room was very dated and not particularly clean. The first night in the room they hadn't put bath towels in my room. The guidebook said... More

If you need a place to crash before hitting Petra at the crack of dawn... then this place is kinda okay (for £50)... as it is a stone's throw from the gate... although I would not go back. Our room was not clean... the beds are uncomfortable, I would not walk on the carpet barefoot, there was blood stain (i... More

As other reviewers have stated, this Hotel is in a great location. I stayed here as part of a tour group; if I had been booking a Petra hotel myself then I may have looked elsewhere. However, although its pretty dated, our room was clean and tidy, the bathroom was ok. In fact, we spent very little time in our... More

We went to Wadi Musa, as do most I suspect, to see the phenomenal ruins of Petra and there are almost no hotels that have a better location from which to do so than Petra Palace. In a way, that is both its selling point and its downfall, as this hotel has the impression of wallowing in the success that... More

We stayed in room 347 which has twin beds and patio doors out on to the patio/pool area on the 3rd floor. The good: the location is brilliant, just a few minutes walk from the Petra Park gates and on the same streeat as other hotels/restaurant/bars. I thought the beds and pillows were comfortable. Water pressure and temperature was good.... More

I booked a quick trip around Jordan through a travel company in Jordan. I am usually pretty careful in what I book, but I was way too busy to check out the hotels and now I'm regretting it. This hotel is below a 3*. The lobby isn't bad and is a bit deceiving. It is clean and open. The room... More

Stayed at this hotel for two nights while was on Tour of Jordan. This hotel is located very close to Petra itself. Clean hotel with good and helpful hotel staff. We were located on the 4th floor. Clean room with double bed and extra sofa like chair. And an empty working fridge was available in the room. The room was... More
