A relaxing place to get back to nature and enjoy some world-class fishing. Stayed in a cabin last year and a room this year. Both were cozy and provided good sleeps! The best part of the stay is sitting by the river with a glass of wine at dusk.

Have stayed at resort on 3 different occassions. Everyone from the front desk to the boat dock guys to resteraunt have treated us awesome... Cabins are super clean and comfortable. No water for hydro electric generation,we fished from banks just like when we were kids,still caught plenty of fish. The people at Gaston's are great with thier properties,excellent resturant,good bar & bar tenders, Plenty of fire wood for cabins even salted the steps and walks after an ice storm. Several improvements since our last stay but that's to be expected here. New flooring and kitchen appliances in our cabin. This is a nice place to go and chill out. Staff are very attentive and the grounds are impeccable.

The staff was wonderful, they go over and above to provide "first class" customer service. Was not there to fish, just soaking up the beauty of the area. The fall colors were fabulous. This place had more to offer than I ever expected. And be ready...it is so very quite at night.

The sky was overcast as we maneuvered for 'position' in the early morning fog. Just returned from a family reunion at Gaston's. We could not have picked a better location or place to have had it at. The rooms and conference lodge were excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to having our next family reunion here in 2014. (The grounds are beautiful and enjoyed watching the wildlife.)
