Nice rooms, spacious and clean and good service and facilities. The food in the restaurant did not reflect the overall quality of the hotel and was a little disappointing. We would advise to eat in one of the nearby restaurants, i.e. the starbeam bistro which offers excellent food for a low price.

OK, Bagan is not so touristy and you dont have plenty of options for accomodation nor for restaurants. During my pre-paid tour in Myanmar, this was the best hotel I stayed at. This hotel is close to the airport, about 5 to 7 minutes by car. Old Bagan is about 12 minutes by car. Bagan Resort is a very nice hotel and the rooms are spacious for Myanmar standard .We love the swimming pool and the garden was beautiful.
