Decent choice to stay here, location next to mall was hard to beat. They have a good gym, and room was comfortable and big. I will stay here again next time. Time taken for check in and check out could be improved though, we had to wait quite a while.

A good location attached to the second biggest mall in town but the entire establishment can be summarized in one word: Cold. The hallway is unusually very cold where we would put on our jackets to feel comfortable. The rooms themselves are all non-carpeted which also added to the cold environment. Most people who visit Balikpapan are not there on holidays. Having said that we were there visiting family and the Jatra suited us perfectly. Our room was large and comfortable with an unfortunate view, the roof and wall of the dining area. Many others would have excellent views. Nice new hotel with good location on top of a shopping centre. Restaurant and bar staff are very friendly and attentive. The reception staff need to be changed or trained.
