Nice guest house, only needs to get a little more care with the towels. Charlene helped us with all our request. Breakfast was OK. Good place to be. They need to renew the towel sets, some of them look to old, clean but old.

We stayed in Edward Charles. This guesthouse is at first sign cosy and staff seem friendly. Cleanliness is ok, breakfast is not the best, but the thing that made us upset was that half of our money disappeared from the safe in the room. The Edward Charles was in a fairly cetnral location in Mossel Bay, only a short walk down a hill to the main street and to the beach and harbour. We were pleasantly surprised at our very spacious room with a stunning view over the harbour and the HUGE bathroom. Unfortunately the jacuzzi pool was not operational - one of the reasons we had chosen this hotel. The hotel is a bit strangely configured with rooms and passages seemingly at random but we thoroughly enjoyed our one night there.
