I stayed here for 5 nights with a group of people on a photography holiday with Colin Prior. Evelyn was very welcoming and helpful, my room was spacious and very comfortable, immaculately clean and the view (when we could see beyond the cloud!) was stunning. Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked and our packed lunches kept us going until dinner... More

This is a clean and nice B&B; the many rooms remind rather of a small hotel than a B&B; the service is very friendly, the vista is great; the breakfast is good but not outstanding as with some smaller B&Bs perhaps. Certainly worth the money. More

This is a very well run guesthouse. Evelyn was very welcoming and helpful. Our room was one of the biggest twin rooms of our whole trip. The room also had great views. Breakfast was very good and the guesthouse is approximately 5 minutes drive into the centre of Ullapool. Evelyn is very helpful with suggestions for what to do during... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights as part of a Scottish tour and wished we had been able to stay longer. The setting was just amazing with stunning views over the Loch. Our room had views of both the loch to one side and the hills the other where we could watch the sunset. It was sufficiently... More

While we did not have a wonderful view due to turning up late in the day and unannounced we did get a warm and enthusiastic welcome. Evelyn, the host, is as chatty and friendly as your favorite neighbour and takes a real interest in your activities and wants. She recommended a wonderful restaurant and, except for her breakfast rush, takes... More

I last stayed at Ardvreck with my Father in 2005 and it made an excellent initial impression (I remember that the porridge was absolutely delicious!) This year, I returned with my husband for a four-night stay as part of a month-long holiday around Scotland. Our room had views over Ullapool and towards the Summer Isles. Since we tend to spend... Nice location on a hill overlooking Ullapool. Friendly welcome. Disappointing room with 'hillside view'. Relatively small room, nothing to make you feel at home. Clean but basic bathroom. Certainly no luxurious details in the whole room. Surprised by the four-star rating. If you get a table at the window for breakfast, you can enjoy the beautiful view. Breakfast good average.... More

Impressed with location over loch. Friendly owners and attention to detail. Try to get loch facing room. The only B and B we stayed at where you did not have to order breakfast night before. Owner made good recommendation for evening meal More

Superb location with magnificent views - lovely welcome - good food - comfortable bed. I slept better here than anywhere else during my 2 week holiday in Scotland. I'll definitely be back. More
