A brief, belated review. We stayed here in March 2011 on a cheap long weekend break via the owners, Oxford Hotels. The hotel is rather shabby and needs upgrading but the food did not compare with the rest of the hotels characteristics. The restaurant was smart and the food good. stayed the night on the 19th sept 2011 will never stay again the carpets are worn really bad the seal round the bath was falling to bits the shower was not working and there was cob webs in the toilet window dinner was ok not a lot though they give scotland a bad name. More
