We visited this lovely old pub for an evening meal. We had a lot of trouble finding it as there are no signs and had to ring up to get directions. The meals we had were delicious and reasonable value. The decor outside and inside the pub are very attractive and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Would recommend!

Stayed two nights recently and the accommodation and the food were of a very high standard. Situated in a lovely country location and close to the village of Tisbury. Convenient train station at Tisbury to travel to Salisbury rather than take the car. Excellent welcome and we will definitely stay here again.

A perfect country pub/hotel. Great location; hospitable owners and staff, excellent food (including breakfast). Rooms simply furnished but satisfactory for a short stay. Would love a few days in the adjacent cottage. Will definitely return!

I came here with my husband on a quiet mid week evening and it was brilliant. Food was perfect and service was good, plus there was a nice roaring fire! Cosy and comfortable. Recommend the lamb shank and stick toffee pudding with brandy snaps. Well definitely back, looking forward to a visit in the summer :)
