Very pretty, in a Henley kind of way, just having juggernauts rushing about two metres from your head at 3 am doesn't really make for a good night sleep... Went to breakfast - mentioned the noise and the damp patch on the ceiling in the bathroom which had appeared overnight - she was lovely - in a ditzy gap year... More

So, my girlfriend thought it would be nice to get one of those Groupon offers and whisk me away for dinner and a bed at the White Hart in Nettlebed. And, for the most part, it was indeed lovely. I'm not sure if it was the company or the hotel that made it for me, but I suspect it was... More

Have stayed in the White Hart last week for my partner birthday and we had a great time. We were accommodated in Superior double and the room was clean with great design and with the beautiful bath righ opposite the bed which was something unusual but gave the room something special. We had delicious 3 course meal flashed down with... More

Stayed two nights at what could be a really good venue. Firstly if you want a good nights sleep avoid room seven 'cocoa' at all costs the room over looks the main road and is very noisy from 4am onwards. Room was nice clean and quirky, the shower was not very effective needed more power. The water system appears to... More

Location ( unless you happen to have a room on the front-next to the road - and buildings are fine. Room comfortable and well-presented. Two drawbacks: What could be a pleasant patio area needs tidying-up and the furniture needs cleaning..and service in the restaurant is amateur.

What an excellent hotel: a fourteenth century building with twenty first century rooms and fittings and set in beautiful countryside. The room was on the first (top) floor and had a very high ceiling giving a very spacious and airy feel. The bathroom was new and well appointed though the shower could have been more powerful. The hotel and restaurant... More

My wife an i stayed here in a superior double room for one night whilst visiting Anthony Worrall Thompson s restaurant in Henley. Located approx 5 miles from Henley on Thames in a pretty village. Almost faultless service, staff very friendly and attentive, rooms are very clean, nicely decorated, very spacious and bathroom are fab. One minor point on the... More

Lovely spacious clean rooms. Not enough hot water. Very nice pub/restaurant food good. Service seemed to lack management and coordination. Restaurant and bar area were very comfortable. Overall we were well looked after and We would go back happily.

Thanks for letting me know about the hot water. Unfortunately no one noticed that 2 out of 4 boilers had gone down! These have all been sorted and we're as toasty as ever. The service issues have been addressed by the new GM. I'm glad you enjoyed everything and look forward to welcoming you back soon! More

An amazing place to stay: great food, very friendly and helpful staff and beautiful decor. I am still ridiculously excited about the fact that we had a bath in our bedroom! I really loved the place and couldn't fault it. Yes, it was hot in the night but that is a personal thing as I prefer it colder but my... More

We stayed in the Rum room (number 10 I think). Room was clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom looked like it had been refurbished recently and was to a high standard. Top tip is to check your radiator is off or low when you go to bed. We didn't check and woke up in the... More
