Picked this hotel as somewhere a bit different to stay whilst working away in Saffron Walden. Very convenient for Saffron Walden and very pleasant. The rooms are in the converted barn. Only stayed the one night (concert at Audley end) in this super barn coversion. Allthough it could do with an update it was a different B/B to the usual. Watch your head on both the entrance and bathroom door. Nicely located for lots to see and do. Breakfast was excellent.

MRS DUKE IS THE SORT OF PERSON ONE WOULD LIKE TO COUNT AS A PERSONAL FRIEND. The property is a little difficult to find but wee worth the effort.
