Two nights just wasn't long enough. The Old Custom House is perfect in so many ways - location, comfort, delicious breakfast, attentive and helpful host. The Captain's Quarters suited us down to the ground, and we particularly appreciated the two comfortable chairs (and footstools) at the end of a long day's walk.

Lovely, old historical house situated right on the East Quay. Quiet location yet within easy reach of all the amenities of Wells-next-the-Sea. Breakfast was superb! Great location right on the quayside but at the quiet end of town. Lovely breakfasts with other guests and Peter on hand, full of local knowledge and ideas for the day. What a wonderful long weekend we had at The Old Custom House. Our bedroom overlooked the creeks so the view was always changing. We stayed here last year and have just booked another weekend break as it was such a lovely place. Its close to Wells centre but in a quiet area overlooking the harbour. Delicious breakfast, comfy bed and great hosts.

My wife and two boys stayed recently and were made to feel very welcome by our host Peter. Lovely views from our bedroom and first class breakfast cooked to order including home made jams delicious. Would recommend this B&B if you need to saty in this area.
