A quietly elegant hotel, beautifully located in a quaintly historical little town. Nice large and comfortable room and a very good breakfast, what more can you want? We did not eat our evening meal in the restaurant but had a drink in the Irish Bar attached to the hotel which was very pleasant.

The facade was beautiful. It's interior courtyards were cool, calming and delightfully designed. The rooms were large, clean and very comfortable and all the staff were friendly and obliging. We didn't take breakfast( just coffee) but the selection of it , laid out in a lower floor highly decorated room, looked very appetising. Definitely worth a visit for it's location.... More

Our family group enjoyed a good stay in the Alcazar ( and alternative .. the Parador was fully booked). Staying in Carmona is a good option to take especially if you find that Seville is either too booked up and/or expensive. Seville is only 30 km away an easy short bus ride. Hotel is in Carmona. I went in th winter and wouldn't advise anyone to go in the winter there as there is absolutely nothing. The rooms and facilities and breakfast ar not really four stars. Also whole area have a problem with English language.

The entrance and central courtyard on arrival looks great. However, our room upstairs had certainly seen better days and looked decidedly well worn. The lady on reception was very cool and curt. Finding this lovely hotel is almost impossible. There is very poor signage in this picturesque town with numerous narrow streets. Why are there no information centers as you approach the town on the highway? Once we found the hotel we were confronted with construction underway in the area. We booked online at at a very competitive rate after a strike in the paradors, which affected our reservation. However, room a bit tired and the bathroom more so, especially around the bath/shower area and a minimalistic supply of toiletries.
