Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The B&B may have been a nice place to stay, but the rudeness of the owner compelled me to give it a poor rating. Members of my family had covid and I was honest enough to share that with her (most people don't even test, let alone share the results). She wouldn't serve us breakfast, even in our rooms. One morning she gave us a 2 Euro coupon, which didn't even cover a pastry and coffee. The next morning nothing. The other places we stayed at during the covid nightmare in Sicily and Malta were very sympathetic and accommodating while making everyone safe; went out of their way to help us out, bringing us food (even dinner!) to our rooms. The owner just wanted us to leave so we felt very unwelcome. The facility appeared to be well maintained.

I am surprised that there are not more recent reviews. Patrizia is a charming hostess who, along with her husband, welcomed us warmly into her quirky and lovely home. We had a lovely room on the second floor of the "castle" and she gave us lots of information on the area. Breakfast was excellent with so much to choose from and we wish we could have stayed longer.

This is a lovely B&B with charm and character. It is an old style property with modern amenities. Patrizia who runs it is a very warm and engaging person. She ensured we were comfortable with our room. Patrizia's recommendation for supper (Le Tre Rose ) was well worth it. We ate extremely well. In addition,we ate a fresh and plentiful breakfast on the top floor of the apartment that had been converted into a dining area. This is a wonderful option should you visit Enna. Ciao Patrizia

Antica Dimora means "ancient dwelling" and the upper floors of a centuries old town house have been converted to form a comfortable two bedroom B&B of remarkable quality. Owned by a very talented young couple who have thought of everything possible to ensure a comfortable stay for their guests Antica Dimora preserves the style of an old property whilst having all modern conveniences such as Wi-Fi, air-con and ultra modern sanitary fittings. Breakfast is a feast for the eye as well as for the stomach with a tantalising display of fruit juice, fresh local fruits, cereal, meats, eggs and cheese accompanied by local tomatoes and lettuce together with homemade biscuits and the sweet tarts/cakes typical of a Sicilian breakfast. Bread/rolls and jams are also available. In fact a feature of Antica Dimora is the desire to do all possible to make guests feel at home and welcome. Its central position makes it ideal for exploring all Enna and the surrounding region have to offer. Good restaurants and bars are close by as are honey coloured stone churches and ancient palaces. Quality shopping, peaceful squares, some with far-reaching views over the surrounding countryside from Enna's lofty position, join the ancient reminders of its historic past such as the Castello di Lombardia. A warmly recommended base for much more than a one night stay.

My wife and I stayed here for one night on the way from Palermo to Siracusa. Patrizia was a wonderful host and looked after us very well. We had a quiet, comfortable room overlooking the street (and the old cinema). The location was fine - close to everything. Patrizia recommended Le Tre Rose for lunch and the food and service were excellent. Highly recommend staying here.

If you are staying in Enna, this is definitely where you want to stay. The apartment is gorgeous, beautiful finishings, a wonderful feel to the whole building, and has everything you need. It even smells beautiful throughout the house. It is well located and easy to get to restaurants and sites for the whole town. The host is simply charming, making you feel right at home and offering suggestions for where to go and what to do. The breakfast was also delicious - good coffee, good variety, and everything you could possibly want. We were so happy to find this gem and I would definitely recommend it for anyone going to the beautiful and charming Enna - we cannot wait to go back!

What a great place! Patricia is a kind and generous host, with lots of enthusiasm. We stayed in a very clean room with good facilities, with a good breakfast. She recommended restaurant Centrale and Pizzeria Tiffany, both were excellent. The room had a well stocked and affordable minibar, with some good wine choices. Ciao Patricia – Mr Michael.

Somewhat difficult to find until you know how, this was an excellent stay after having to change from our original booking at the last minute. Our host was very welcoming, the room was good, the bed comfortable and the breakfast good. We were cycle touring and she had somewhere we could safely store our bikes. I'd recommend it

What a friendly place, what a room, what a breakfast! Patrizia must be most welcoming host in Enna. We had reserved a room here only for one night (next day we had to be in Piazza Armerina) but we really hoped we would have been able to stay longer. The room was very spacious with a nice view, the wi-fi worked faultlessly and fast and the breakfast was one of the best we have ever tasted in Sicily - we met Patrizia's friendly husband Giuseppe during the breakfast. Enna itself is most charming town and very lively in the evening. There are lot of good restaurants and wine bars around and lots of people doing passeggiata. And views must be the best from any town in Sicily - Enna is situated in 1000 meters altitude and you can really see very far. Sunsets are unforgettable. Thank you Patrizia for our very pleasant stay.

We were travelling across south-east Sicilly and here in Antica Dimora we found best place ever ---- we do not have any bad comments ---- small appartment in 2 floor with balcony and flowers there....romantic, absolutely clean, silent....and in the center of Enna. Everywhere in house is pleasently parfumed......breakfast in the top floor is prepared by beautifull person in lady of the house.....as typically sweet and also "salty" and fresh for sure...Price is very competitive and best value for money. we recommend to stay here 2 or 3 nights and visit small tonw on the second hill....by the way lady of house owns a farm producing fruits and vegetables...you may ask to visit. :-)
