We spent 2 nights at Bayly Farm earlier this week. Desmond and Jackie are wonderful and gracious hosts! The country setting, lovely room, views from the windows, fires in the lounge, dinner and breakfasts in the dining room, and guided walk around the farm property were indeed highlights of our time spent in Nenagh. We would most definitely stay at... More

My mother and I stayed at Bayly Farm only one night over our short trip to Ireland and it was enchanting. The house and the hosts are lovely, the room was comfortable and spacious and we had a perfect night sleep and great breakfast in the lovely dining room. It was really nice to wake up at Bayly Farm and... More

Jacqueline and Desmond afforded us a glimpse into this less known and delightful area of mid-ireland, due to their warmth, easy manner and genuine kindness. We loved the house, its sense of family history and the pleasure of being in the context of this history in their dining room every morning and in the sitting room with a log fire... More

We very much enjoyed two days at Bayly Farm and would thoroughly recommend this lovely, beauitifully situated bed and breakfast. Very comfortable, spacious accomodation. Good bathroom with bath and shower. Excellent food both at breakfast and evening meals. Jackie and Desmond are very welcoming and hospitable. Would like to have stayed longer.

My husband and I recently shared an absolutely wonderfully short stay in the River Room at Bayly Farm. From the delicious breakfast to hiking a designated trail on their magnificent rural property (they offered us their boots!), bed & breakfast owners, Desmond and Jackie, made this experience very special and memorable for us. Thank you again for going out of... More

Huge rooms, enjoyable walk, and knowledgeable hosts await you at Bayly farm. With only a few rooms available, it is a very intimate experience.

When my wife and I planned a recent 9 day self-drive tour of Ireland we decided we wanted to stay in farmhouse/B&Bs so we could meet the Irish people and gain an understanding of how they lived. Without question we agreed that our stay at Bayly Farmhouse near Nenagh in County Tipperary was was our best experience in Ireland. Jackie... More

My husband and I had unfortuantely only had one night stay at Bayly Farm, this was not enough. We were greeted by Des and Jackie and promptly shown to our room. This room was the most inviting and luxurious of our whole trip in Ireland. We had to stop ourselves from sitting down and instead decided to go for a... More

We booked a weekend at Bayly Farm to get away from London, it was the perfect escape! We were well looked after, beautiful old country house, with lovely grounds - great for a good afternoon walk, and relaxing by the log fire in the afternoon. We had a room in the new part of the house and it was very... More

We stayed for three nights with our young grandson and were made to feel very welcome. Our stay was peaceful and relaxing in a house of character eg working shutters on the bedroom windows and a log fire in the drawing room later. Fesh fruit and good home cooking for breakfast (after a comfortable night's sleep) were presented with genuine... More

Bayly Farm is a delightful historic house, owned by Desmond and Jacqueline Bayly. The house, which remains largely unchanged, but enjoys all modern facilities, has been in the ownership of the Bayly family since it was built in the early 19th century. A most distinguished visitor was Sir William Rowan Hamilton, the world-famous mathematician and physicist. He married Helen Bayly in 1833 and the couple spent their honeymoon at Bayly Farm. Situated on a 130 acre working farm, Bayly Farm offers excellent accommodation in a tranquil rural setting, looking towards the Silvermines Mountains. ... more   less
