We often visit here for coffee/lunch and could not fault it. The staff bend over backwards to help and the food is delicious. There is a spacious car park at the back which makes it very convenient even on a wet day.

Travelling home from M1 direction and stopped off in Slane for a quick meal. Keen to try the Conyngham Arms under new owners. Beautiful exterior with real shrubs each side of main door, lovely ambiance inside, pleasant and very quick service, menu well priced with very good selection. We really enjoyed our meal - will be back.

We stayed here for one night in May 2013 for a wedding down the road. Upon arrival the hotel staff quickly arranged for us to stay in a new room as we'd arrived early. We stayed on the second floor in the Sallymoor room i believe, which has a beautiful 4 poster bed. The bathroom was very addequate with a... More

Booked a meal for 80 persons for a funeral meal. Pleasant polite service and really excellent three course meal ( salmon or chicken main course - both excellent) Only criticism was quality of the coffee - not great, but the overall experience was such a positive one at a very stressful time. No hesitation in recommending it.

This hotel has been refurbished in the last year and is going strong - good food, friendly staff and lovely decor! Our food was a little bit slow to come out, but overall this is a very good hotel by Irish small town standards! Not a carvery or a square carrot in sight thankfully!!

Visited this hotel on 22nd March. Found it to be clean, comfortable and very convenient in the centre of town. We ate in the bar and the food was excellent and the service fast and friendly even when busy.

We stayed here for one night as a get away, the welcome at reception was warm and genuine, the room was to the front of the building and was really welcoming with a super luxurious four poster bed and a tea/ coffee tray with adorable mugs, the bathroom was stocked with good quality hand made soaps and it really was... We have stayed at this hotel a number of times now, the last being a couple of years ago and at that time found it had become very tired and rundown. What a different story now; the new owners have certainly made a huge improvement in terms of cleanliness, decor and much improved service. We received a warm welcome on... More
