£180 for one night with no bathroom in room - extremely over priced. Nothing available in kitchen as advertised, musty smell, would not recommend to anyone. Check in at a different place, breakfast at another place just all over the show. Awful stay for that price!!!!

Stayed here for two days with friends recently and really enjoyed our stay. The B&B is in a great location as everything we wanted (mainly pubs) was within walking distance. Check in/out requires you going to the bar down the road to pick up and return your keys but its only a couple of minutes walk. The rooms themselves are clean and tidy with ample space but can be a bit hit and miss as they're not all ensuite and you may have to share a bathroom but you do benefit from having a fully functioning communal kitchen at your disposal with all the home essentials such as microwave, fridge freezer, kettle, cutlery & crockery etc. There is a private car park which we managed to squeeze 4 cars into just about and an outdoor seating area if the weather is nice but the patio furniture badly needs updating. There is Sky tv in the sitting room and bedrooms though none of the premium channels. One note of caution for tall people the ceilings and doorways are quite low down so you do end up stooping over. Breakfast is served til half 12 which is handy if you're feeling a bit delicate after a heavy night and this again involves you walking down to the pub but the fresh air clears the head and hardy breakfast lines the stomach. I think I've covered everything so in summary did I like my stay in Carlingford, did this B&B satisfy my expectations and would I return to stay here again? Yes, yes and yes.…

There is little left to say about the standard of customer service in Carlingford. It maintains a level of excellence which would be hard to match in any other part of the world. I was visiting as part of a genealogical trawl and found the whole experience delightful. The B&B is attached to the Carlingford Arms Inn which was comfortably set apart from the quarters. Everything was spotless and everyone helpful and professional. Breakfast was ample and wholesome, conversation perfectly pitched and the desire to help was in evidence throughout. This part of Ireland is a little way off from the beaten track of tourism in the island and benefits from its sense of timeless exclusivity. Many thanks to Sharon and Eoghan for all you help and support. I cannot wait to return.

We were made to feel very welcome in the B&B. The rooms were very clean and our room had its own bathroom. We will definitely return here the next time we are in Carlingford. Very central with its own car parking.
