We stayed here just one night on new years eve. The room was big, clean and very cosy. The beds had an electric blanket which I thought was a lovely touch but even though it was freezing outside we had no need to use it. The room was toasty warm when we came in. The owners welcomed us and were... More

Stayed just before Christmas on a business trip - very impressed with rooms, views and fantastic breakfast. Michael and Glynnis were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. A real gem and well worth a visit More

We stayed here for a night over new years..we were warmly welcomed at the door and shown to a lovely big room with great views. The breakfast was really good, better than most hotels and the service was excellent. Would definitely stay here again! More

We spent our fisrt night here during a roundtrip of Northern Eire and Northern Ireland. We had reserved in advance, and got a big room at the front with stunning views over the lough. We slept well, and the breakfast was one of the best we've had at such an establishment. And the host were also very helpful, highly recommended... More

We stayed two nights mid-winter and couldn't have been happier. The rooms are beautifully finished and warm, the location gorgeous with views of Carlingford Lough, the service always attentive but never overbearing. The breakfasts are vastly superior to hotel grub! This medieval village is well worth the trip, and if you do come then Beaufort House knocks spots off all... More

Stayed one night last week with my mum. Perfect location, stunning views and the best breakfast I have ever had in a B&B. The table was beautifully set and the hosts could not have been more pleasant. Room was great size. Mum took the double and I took the single. We both slept like logs and the view to wake... More

This B&B was one of the best we stayed in while travelling around Ireland. It is situated overlooking Carlingford Lough and we were fortunate enough to have a room at the front of the house with an outlook to this beautiful view and as well our side window looked up to the mountain. Our room was spotlessly clean, very spacious... More

Stayed one night and found the hotel, really a B+B, to be pleasant and in an excellent location with a great view across the lough.Nice hosts, and the breakfast was good, but we found the double bed to be quite small in both directions, even by Irish standards, and the pillows to be like rocks. So, generally very good but... More

We completely refute the claim in this review that the bed provided for this guest was in any way undersized. The bed, and the pillows were supplied by one of the premier hotel suppliers in this country. They are of the highest quality and conform in every way to the requirements of "Failte Ireland" , the statuary authority for tourism... More

Having travelled 1 hour to reach our destination, Michael the owner and his lovely wife Glynnis met us at the door. It was as if we had known each other for many years such was the greeting. Having brought us to the room, it was clearly evident that our hosts were indeed very proud of their home and we settled... More
