OK, basics. 30 minute drive from Dublin, based just outside Maynooth (a 3 minute drive away). B&B is surrounded by fields, with a large garden and ample parking. You will need a car to stay here, as we didn't see any public transport. Maynooth has lots of places to eat varying from take-aways to a-la-carte restaurants, these are all in... More

The breakfast is very good. Fresh scones and the egg dishes were tasty. This was the only place that we encountered fresh squeezed orange juice in Ireland ! We are from Florida so we would know. The only thing that I missed was having a sit-down with our host when we arrived. (we arrived rather late in the evening-9:00pm). Otherwise... More

Secluded down a quiet road next to a field of grazing sheep near a horse farm yet close to town and the train for easy access to Dublin. The twin room was an ample size and had a small but clean bathroom. After several disappointing B&Bs, we were so relieved to find a B&B run both professionally and with a... More

We stayed at Aaronbeg for 3 nights. The place is only a few minutes north of Maynooth, Co. Kildare. Our room was absolutely comfortable, tidy and clean. Breakfast was splendid with a wide range of food which kept us going well into the day. We always felt spoiled by Maureen's warm welcome and outstanding hospitality. A place absolutely worth staying... More

Maureen (and the incredible breakfast she serves every morning) makes this place special. My wife and I (and 10 year old son) recently stayed at Aaronbeg for 7 nights. Maureen is an absolutely delightful person and works very hard to make your stay enjoyable. The breakfast is wonderful. The scrambled eggs and smoked salmon is so good that I had... More

I stayed here with my 3-year old daughter for one night and the service was fantastic from the moment we arrived. Maureen couldn't do enough for us. The room was gorgeous and even though it was quite late when we arrived, Maureen immediately brought up freshly made coffee to our room and even offered to make a plate of sandwiches... More
