This was a "gem" of an experience! If we didn't have to be in Dublin the next day to meet our son, we would have stayed longer. Bernadette greeted us with a tray of tea and homemade cookies (I got the recipe). Later we went out to the barn and visited with Eddie to learn more about his magnificent horses....

I stayed here many times over the six months between July 2010 and January 2011 and received a fabulous welcome and wonderful service. It is the perfect spot to be on hand for Cork Airport and not troubled by any of the noise an airport generates. I was working at the Airport and always got a lovely cup of tea...

Ardfield was a beautiful relaxing location, highly recomend it. Bernadette and her family were so friendly and welcoming, the rooms comfortable and most importantly clean! Food was amazing, we felt very well cared for.
Short walk to the local pub, Kirby's Corner, good food friendly service.
Would stay there again, a wonderful experience.

My husband and I stayed here on our trip to Europe this summer. Beautiful setting, amazing views! Breakfast was homemade, fresh and delicous. We fed the horses in the paddock but unfortunately were too early in the season to see a newborn foal. Location was great, we toured Kinsale and Blarney and Cork City from here which are all closeby....

I was warmly welcomed by the owner, Bernadette who showed me to my comfortable en suite room that was well furnished. A short walk from the village of Ballinghassig where Kirbys Korner, one of two bars serves a fine steak.
