Mattress or sheets smelled badly. (Sweat or …?) Mattress worn Bathroom smell, possibly by a bad/worn seal. Breakfast buffet poor choice. Ceiling light not working. No internet access (perhaps not the responsibility of hotel) (note: not related to my computer; no one had access) All this in an Deluxe room.

A beautiful property indeed...Check in was a bit slow but overall the staff are really nice and i found to be attentive..A bit pricey on the food , but it was very delicious..A good kitchen....Breakfast is a small buffet type, but good assortment of fruits, breads etc.....Loved the rooms, large and great bathroom..Fresh flowers all over....You must have a massage... This has been one of our favorite restaurants over the past 5-6 years with fabulous food and excellent service. We recognize the economy has been tough on Costa Rica but imagine our surprise when we discovered our top shelf margaritas were $25/piece, $31 with tax. What a "hangover"!
