My family and I did a day trip out to Mormon lake lodge. Once we got there we were all hungry so went to the steakhouse to eat some lunch. Once we walked in we were greeted by one of the servers. She sat us and greeted us with her name. Its one I won't forget because I have never... More

After reading the reviews,we expected really rustic, but were surpringing pleased with the lodge. Our cabin in the Elk View section was great. It was a 1 room cabin with nice amenities, great bed, comfy sofa, DirecTV, microwave, fridge, and had a nice table to sit at on the back porch. Everything was clean and and it was ready when we... First, there's no lake here anymore, its a big meadow. We stayed at the RV campground for 4 nights during an Arizona Trail event. the AZT is an 800 mile trail from the Mexico to Utah border. The campground had full hookups and clean showers. The spaces were adequate, though not every site had a fire ring. The campground was... More

Our cabin was gross and dirty. We left early because we couldn't stand to spend another night. The restaurant was awful! Steaks were cooked wrong, baked potato was still cold, fresh veggies were frozen and not fresh. Menu online was wrong and the first two dinners and app we ordered were not available. The employees in the restaurant were rude.... More

We were here for the Herbal Resurgence so the place was at capacity. We stayed in an Elk View cabin. The pros: It was a nice cabin, clean, open and large with big windows and a gorgeous view of the wildflowers out back. Nice deck for eating. It had recently been re-furnished, lots of things were new and the main... More

We emailed for a reservation and tried to call numerous times but to no avail. WE finally drove out to check out things the last weekend in Aug. They were not concerned regarding the contact issues. The public bathrooms were disgusting and comments from other guests regarding the cabins and restaurant were NOT positive. This place really needs help but... More

Stayed in a one bed room that was super stuffy and smelled of cheap air freshner. The bathroom was dirty and worn out and in need of a good wash in bleach. Mormon Lake itself was beautiful and can't wait to go back but will be making other arrangements.

We stay in the RV park 2-3 times per year and frequently have friends and family stay in the cabins when we are there. We were just there for the first time this year over memorial day and it seems like the management is just unwilling or unable to spend the money to maintain either the RV parks or cabins.... More

Mormon Lake Lodge is a great cabin getaway in northern Arizona. We have stayed 3 or 4 times over the last few years and have always have a great time. The cabins are on the rustic side - but if you are looking for four or five star hotel amenities this is not the place for you. But, we continue... More

We stayed in the #50-60 cabins with a group of friends (total of 7 rooms). When we checked in, the front desk person was more interested in eating her lunch than assisting the guests. We asked for directions on where to find the cabin and the person pointed and said "up there." The cabin room was awful...cracked shower floor that... More
