We were a group of 4 and stayed here for 4 days - Adrian took us on Jeep excursions and shared with us his knowledge and love for this wonderful area which is close to the Andes. Sonia (his wife) fed us the most amazing home cooked meals and we also found time to play games with his 2 charming... More

We spent 11 fantastic days at Silver Cord B&B. Adrian and Sonia and their family are very welcoming and warm hosts, and were very keen to ensure we had an enjoyable time. We were even included in the Christmas celebrations which was very special when you are away from your own family. As mentioned by other reviewers one of the... More

Myself and 2 buddies spent 1 night and 2 days at the Silvercord B&B. Adrian was an excellent guide who was determined to get us a birds eye view of the Condors. We were not dissapointed. The adventure day was so enjoyable , we tried it again on the 2nd day on the other side with even more spectacular views.... More

My wife and I stayed here for one night in May 2009. We flew into MDZ and rented a car for the drive up to Silver Cord. Maps and directions provided on the website were very helpful (particularly the GPS coordinates). We got a little lost due to the fact that our GPS didn't know that one of the roads... More

We stayed for two nights and went on two expeditions with the intrepid Adriano and Guillermo, one trek and a drive to Aconcagua. Wish we had more time to do another outing and try Adriano's barbeque. Great food, especially the local mushrooms with pasta. Would definitely like to visit again and do some UFO spotting with the guys. Rory and... More

This is a great bed & breakfast experience. As previous reviewers have noted, Adrian and Sonia are great hosts, and the setting is lovely. For English-speaking guests Adrian -- an Aussie/Argentine (or is it an Argentine/Aussie?) -- is a delight, as he can provide wonderful insight into the local culture and recreational opportunities. Sonia's English is more limited, but is... More

Silver Cord was one of the highlights of our trip to South America. Adrian and Sonia were so incredibly welcoming and made our stay so relaxed and enjoyable. They also managed to do this without being in the least bit overbearing. The outings with Adrian were wonderful, enough activity to see the sights yet still enough time in the day... More
