A very reasonable 3 star hotel with very friendly and helpful reception staff. The room was quite good and the only negative was a noisy 'window-box' air conditioner unit (rattling, as so many do). The buffet breakfast was plentiful and quite acceptable. The location of this hotel is quite good.

Stayed here in April 2013 for a few days. The streets around the hotel are under construction and it can get noisy in the mornings - but that is the luck of the draw. The hotel itself is lovely, the front desk staff really helpful and a nice relaxing area to sit and have a quiet drink of an evening... More

This hotel had a central location to the heart of Buenos Aires city for our short stay. Many tourist attractions and eating places could be easily reached by walking as BA is a very flat city. The room was very clean, perhaps fittings a little vintaged but we spent little time in our hotel room, so this did not concern... More

First impressions weren't good as they were digging up the road outside, not the fault of the hotel but it didn't help when I first arrived plus drilling the road at 7.30am wasn't nice. The foyer of the hotel was very nice and the staff very pleasant and helpful, but the rooms although clean, were not 4* by any standard.... More

Average hotel. Good staff. Outside noise as street being dug up for new renovations for public way. O.k as a stop over on South American tour. Needs updating. Street safe but tatty in some corners. Location is the main advantage for a short stay.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights at the end of our 4 week trip in SA. Brilliant location, very central to everything. We were put on the second floor and the street noise was pretty bad right thought the day and night. The windows are strange old ones with very odd locks and a pull down shutter which looked... More

The room was very nice and clean, looked old outside, but has been renovated and beautiful inside. The hotel is in a good location, just short walk to the shopping street and the subte. All staffs are very friendly and helpful.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 July 2012

Stayed here in early July for 5 nights for tourism. The hotel is very well-located. It is within steps of the San Martin subte station and close enough to the Manuel Tienda Leon bus terminal (the latter is something to consider if you are trying to save on cabs). Shopping and restaurants are around the bend. As for the hotel... More

This hotel is okay , right in the heart of the downtown and close to AV Florida. The room was very nice and clean. For $95 US it is very good. In Vancouver you can get a room on skid row for this price.
