We were a Swedish group of 23 persons, who stayed for 4 nights at Melia. Everybody were very pleased of the location, staff and the rooms. If I ever come back to Buenos Aires i really would like to stay at your Hotel again. The only thing I want more is free internet in the room. More

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved the location. Walking distance to most things including a shopping mall, tourist attractions and restaurants. We had the most beautiful tasting steak at a restaurant only a couple of doors down. Reception was good, they could speak English well (unlike most people in Buenos Aires - very hard to order things to... More

The staff at Melia was very helpful and spoke great English. The room was nice and clean. I preferred the Palermo neighborhood but this was a great hotel for the price. More

This is a nice hotel in a good area of Buenos Aires. You are walking distance from many sights, restaurants and nice shopping. The front of the hotel is on a semi-pedestrian mall with very little vehicle traffic (mainly cars dropping off / picking up guests) with restaurants, shops and bars lining the street, most of which have outside tables.... I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in January 2012 after I couldn't get into the Melia Recoleta Plaza (where I had stayed previously on this trip - see my separate review). I think it is a really good hotel for business or pleasure. It felt like a business hotel, but that doesn't really worry me - it was... More

This hotel offers excellent cost benefit with breakfast adequate. Clean hotel with good location, but occasionally a member of the staff is rude. Stay tuned as there is with the fourth ward and are not renewed and damaged. The renovated rooms are very good. More

Because airspace was closed at the Valdes Peninsula (ashes coming from a Chilean volcano), we unexpectedly came back to BA and booked this hotel for 2 nights. Usually, I spend time on TA to identify the best possible choice, but this time as I had to book it in a hurry before leaving the hotel at our previous location. It... More

In September I booked on the Melia website a room for 3 nights in November and entered my credit card details for what I thought was just the usual guarantee. At that point it was not made clear on their website that they will charge me for the whole amount 3 more than months in advance, which they unfortunately did... More

I've stayed at the Melia several times on business and the location, while great during the day, rapidly deteriorates at night... it is the red light district and prostitutes regularly wait outside the hotel. As a female traveler I have never felt unsafe in the area even so (& even alone late at night) but I have had a prostitute... More

I've been in this hotel in April with my wife and a couple of friends. Positives: central location (although not the safest area of town), quiet rooms (and I'm a light sleeper) and one of the best and most complete breakfast in the city! Negatives: standard rooms need immediate renovation as imho a hotel of this caliber should not have... More
