Stayed in puerto limon for three weeks and got to meet great people, guests and staff, in this lovely hostel. The staff is very helpful, and they speak English. I will recommend this hostel to anyone who is going to Buenos Aires. Thank you for an amazing time!

The perfect hostel for those looking to have a good time and experience Buenos Aires. The rooms are comfortable, the place is clean, the showers are always hot, and there's plenty of locker space for your things. The atrium and patio give the place a great open feel, and there's always seems to be a small gathering putting back a... More

A lovely, relaxed and friendly oasis of calm. Puerto Limon is excellent value considering you are in the centre of San Telmo, a few blocks south of the microcentre and right next to the San Telmo market. The owner is very laid back and helpful and his team are friendly and efficient and he offered us a small discount as... More

the rooms are standard, they are cleand everyday as the bathrooms. The kitchen is okay. The bathrooms are good, there could be more showers but like always it works. The neighborhood is quiet alright even it doesn't seem so, i felt save and had a good time.

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights in late May 2012. We found the hostel incredibly warm and really enjoyed meeting a bunch of fellow backpackers that we spent nights drinking with in the common room. We both weren't smokers and appreciated that most everyone went outside to smoke on the back patio (perhaps they changed their policy... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Puerto Limon for just over 2 weeks in February 2012 and in general, really enjoyed our stay. The hostel is extremely well-run by Bruno and the rest of the team. Staff were on duty 24 hours a day, nothing was ever too much trouble and the staff were always smiling. The hostel is in... More

Hi Laura, Thank you for placing your review. I am pleased to advise that just since May 31 (World No Tobacco Day) It`s not alowed to smoke inside the hostel, only at the patio. Thank you once again and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Regards, Gabriel More

This hostel was exactly what we were looking for. At $20/night per person, my friend and I got a private room next to the kitchen. Because we were there in the winter, there weren't people on the patio talking until the early hours of the morning. In fact, the hostel was quiet and relaxing compared to most I have experienced.... This place had a very "hippie" vibe with quite a few of them hanging around the common areas most of the night and day. Right outside our room was a table with chairs where people would stay up late talking so not the best nights sleep (and then they would start again at 8am in the morning). Room was okay,... More
