The stay was beautiful and comfortable. But i found that little things that were organised were not in place. I had two waiters, one kind of in my face looking at me, we were both speechless. Hopefully we have soon another wedding which takes place at Devonvale. The place, the food, the rooms, the staff, the golf course... everything was fantastic. But even without a wedding, we will plan again a lovely weekend at this place.

We have stayed at Devonvale probably about 6 or 7 times during the past two or three years and have always had an excellent stay. The bedrooms were refurbished a couple of years' ago - very tastefully done by Esther and her team who, incidentally, are always very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommend the Devonvale. This is the 2nd time that we have stayed and bought a party of 9 with us. The apartments are very stylishly decorated and couldn't fault anything. I honestly do not have many complaints in respect of the venue. The room and all that goes along with it were perfect. My only advice would be to improve the dismal breakfast and also R 1000 per night is a lot!
