A lovely room...the tub and shower were wonderful, the view was lovely. The food could have been better, but it was presented well. Our host was very welcoming and the bed was very comfortable. We had a mediocre breakfast, not like the ones we had had in the bush or even in Johannesburg.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful service. Excellent rooms. Great locations, only 30 minutes from Cape Town International Airport. Close to the Stellenbosch winelands region. Will be back!

From the minute we arrived we were taken care of! Michel our host was fantastic and informative about the area and venues worth a visit. This is the 4th time that I have stayed at The Wild Mushroom and am never disappointed! Its a great location for anyone wanting to visit Stellenbosch but be out of the hustle, bustle and noise of the town. It's always my hotel of choice when visiting Stellenbosch.

Great location, great owners and a great GM. Rooms spacious and fully loaded with all the requirements for pampered living. Wonderful breakfast as well. Will be back again for sure and recommend this to anyone who wants quick access to the Stellenbosch winelands region.
