“Lovely Place to Stay”

We visited our daughter who was studying at UCT and this was the perfect location for us to stay. However, the best thing about this Guesthouse is the lovely owners who provide personalized and excellent service. We also loved the daily breakfast in the sunny dining room.

This was the perfect place for us. Everything was great. Charming house, nice hosts and delicious breakfast. Location near UCT was what we needed, and it was easy to get to different sights. I warmly recommend this guesthouse.

Yves and Valerie are consummate hosts, and they have a beautiful guest house that is exceptionally clean, well-maintained and appointed. Their knowledge of the area and excursion recommendations were a bonus. “Loved the Carmichael”

This guesthouse was very comfortable, service was exceptional and the breakfasts were a great way to start adventurous days in Cape Town. The best part, though, is the couple who run the place, who will make you feel like old friends...great people running a great place. Highly recommended.

“Friendly stay”

The hosts at the Carmichael Guesthouse make this into a special venue. Conveniantly located for UCT and a short walk to the train station. Right around the corner from the Irma Stern Museum which is worth a visit. Nice brakfsats and a place worht returning to.
