I knew it would be basic, and it was very, very, basic indeed... and quite dilapidated. A perfect place if you have to wake up very early for the morning game drive! There is a restaurant with a view, unfortunately with bad food & bad service. A good point would be the friendly and helpful staff at reception.

Stayed 5 nights in a river facing luxury tent. Hippos,croc's,buffalo,elephant,waterbuck,baboon all viewed from out tent deck. We stayed in one of the bungalows along the river...we checked in with no problems got to our bungalow with no issues. The kitchenette was outside and it has all the basic amenities that you will need for cooking, eating and enjoying whatever you cook.(pots, pans cooking spoons, dishware,glassware etc) and clean. We stayed in a perimeter safari tent (#16) and it was really the location that made the experience. We were overlooking the river and fell asleep listening to the hippos. The tent was good value, basic accommodation, but could use updating (fresh paint, new fixtures, etc.). Would be ideal for self-catering / braai (porch is fully equipped).

Wonderful location overlooking the river. Our daughter walked right into the clear glass sliding door of our bungalow and sustained a badly bleeding and swollen lip.
