I have stayed here on a number of occasions and it must be said the hotel needs money spent to upgrade to a 5 star hotel. It is very expensive for a very average hotel. Very nice and comfortable hotel, luxurious decor. The hotel is connected to the Sandton mall which is very convenient for shopping - a large mall that has all types of shops. The food at the hotel is average, but you can go to the mall to many restaurants. The rooms are fabulous, quiet and comfortable

One of the original Sandton hotels, still wonderful and service still good. You must visit the San bar at their sister hotel Sandton Sun for a sundowner. Interconti never disappoints and I shall return.

Great location for good shops and restaurants, all within walking distance. Easy access to the train to the international airport. The staff were so friendly and obliging. Very good buffet breakfast. The ambiance is very restful. Would definitely stay there again.

I stayed here for 3 nights on a business trip. I chose it due to the rating as the number one hotel rated on trip advisor. Overall, it's a good place, loved the proximity to the Sandton City. However, the meals were below par. Options for breakfast were limited and the food was often cold.
